Our client is an investment holding company that seeks to add value to Life. They operate across the Life science research and development, Food processing, manufacturing and Real-estate segments. Due to Expansion they are in need of a MARKETING & SALES OFFICER.
Location – Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Segment target markets (end-consumers, B2B, distributors, retailers) to tailor positioning and messaging.
- Develop marketing plans and sales strategies aligned with FOWM’s goals : new product launch, import substitution, shelf‑life extension claims, etc.
- Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, trends in nutrition, food & biotech sectors; identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop or support packaging, labeling, and promotional materials to reflect FOWM’s brand, quality, and market promise.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and other trade partners relevant to FOWM’s product lines (food products, bio-ingredients, lab / media etc.).
- Implement trade promotions, deals, in‑store activations or retailer engagements to accelerate product uptake.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital, field, trade shows) to increase awareness and demand.
- Manage customer feedback loops : gather insights from customers / retailers / end‑users; feed back to R&D, production, quality, and operations to improve products or positioning.
- Ensure excellent customer service; help resolve issues regarding product quality, delivery etc.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales , or a closely related field.Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the FMCG sector , especially with food products .Deep knowledge of consumer behavior , product positioning , and market penetration strategies .Experience with distribution networks , trade promotions , and retail engagement in the food / FMCG market.Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.Ability to work cross‑functionally (with production, R&D, quality, supply chain) to ensure product, promotion, and delivery alignment.Analytical skills : comfortable with sales / marketing metrics, working with data to track performance.Creative, proactive, results‑oriented, with ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
