The Company is looking to hire a Head, Financial Planning, Analysis and Strategy to join its leadership bench to provides strategic financial leadership to drive informed decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

§   Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with business unit heads and senior leadership.

§   Develop comprehensive financial models to project long-term growth and evaluate the impact of various business factors.

§   Deliver in-depth competitor analysis, market trend assessments, and associated commentary to the leadership team to inform strategic decisions.

§   Prepare detailed business cases to support new investments, strategic initiatives, and other critical business decisions.

§   Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management regarding financial modeling, profitability, and future growth opportunities.

§   Analyze complex financial and operational results to provide a deep understanding of company performance.

§   Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and analyzing the causes of unexpected variances across revenue, cost of sales, and expenses.

§   Conduct detailed analysis and provide commentary on cost center results to drive accountability and performance.

§   Evaluate previous budgets and expenditures to develop and implement more effective future budgets.

§   Provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management to support informed decision-making.

§   Oversee and manage the ongoing development and improvement of budgeting, financial forecasting, and operational modeling tools.

§   Improve business performance by evaluating existing processes to drive efficiencies and enhance ROI across marketing, menu pricing, and new store rollouts.

§   Review existing processes and procedures to develop and recommend new productivity or cost-saving initiatives.

§   Communicate financial results and recommendations to senior management to drive cost reduction, revenue generation, and operational streamlining.

§   Audit and manage company accounts, analyzing current and past trends in all key financial areas.

§   Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data used in reporting and analysis

Requirements

§   Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field (Master’s degree) in finance and / or MBA preferred).

§   Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CFA is required.

§   10+ years’ experience working in a financial analysis & planning role.

§   Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting

§   Work experience in any of the big 4 either locally or internationally is a plus

§   Profound know-how in financial planning and reporting

§   Leadership ability to guide and get results from a team.

§   Experience in multi-unit retail concepts preferred.

§   Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

§   Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

§   Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.

§   Significant analytical skill set, including the utilisation of finance and reporting tools

§   Able to solve complex problems

§   Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships

§   Strong influencing and interpersonal skills

§   High level of commercial acumen

§   Thrives in a fast paced, start-up environment with dynamic business priorities.

§   Extensive experience and passion for coaching / mentoring a team.

§   Extensive experience leading a complex organization and passion for getting into details to identify root cause of issues and create innovative solutions
