Job Description
The Head, Contributory Reserve Fund, is responsible for leading the strategic direction, governance, and operational execution of VFD Group’s contributory reserve fund while driving business development initiatives across the Group. This role ensures optimal fund utilization, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable growth through innovative financial and commercial strategies.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and governance of the Group’s contributory reserve fund.
- Ensure transparent and efficient collection, allocation, and utilization of funds.
- Lead fund forecasting, performance tracking, and strategic alignment with Group objectives.
- Chair the Contributory Fund Committee and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic pricing, channel development, and customer acquisition initiatives.
- Analyze business performance metrics to identify growth levers and operational efficiencies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement commercial strategies that improve profitability and market share.
- Lead strategic initiatives to expand the Group’s footprint across sectors and geographies.
- Collaborate with subsidiary MDs and business unit heads to align growth strategies.
- Initiate and manage high-level partnerships with financial institutions, fintechs, corporates, and government entities.
- Structure and negotiate joint ventures, investment deals, and strategic collaborations that enhance the Group’s value proposition.
- Oversee due diligence, valuation, and integration planning for new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, regulators, financial institutions, and key partners.
- Represent the Group in high-level negotiations, forums, and industry events.
- Ensure stakeholder confidence through transparent reporting and strategic communication.
- Work closely with the CFO and Head of Treasury to align fund strategies with liquidity and capital planning.
- Monitor KPIs across fund performance and business development metrics.
- Ensure risk management frameworks are embedded in fund and growth initiatives.
Requirements
