Our client is a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Nigeria. Due to expansion, they are in need of a Senior Pastry Chef de Partie.
Location : Lagos.
Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare, bake, and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Supervise junior pastry chefs and commis staff, providing training and guidance.
- Ensure consistency in recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
- Assist in developing new pastry and dessert recipes for menus, buffets, and events.
- Maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and minimize wastage.
- Uphold strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in line with HACCP.
- Collaborate with the wider culinary team to support banquets, events, and special functions.
- Report maintenance needs for pastry equipment and ensure proper usage.
Job Requirements :
Degree / Diploma in Culinary Arts, Catering, or related field, with specialization in pastry.Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in pastry within a hotel or fine-dining environment.Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, chocolate work, bread, and plated desserts.
