Our client is a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Nigeria. Due to expansion, they are in need of a À la Carte Chef.
Location : Lagos
Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook à la carte menu items to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
- Ensure timely service and smooth coordination during peak dining periods.
- Maintain portion control, quality, and consistency in every dish served.
- Support menu development with innovative à la carte dishes that enhance guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Manage mise en place and ensure readiness of ingredients before service.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor ingredient usage, reduce waste, and support cost control initiatives.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff assigned to the à la carte section.
Job Requirements :
Degree / Diploma in Culinary Arts, Catering, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in à la carte service within hotels or fine dining restaurants.Strong knowledge of international and local cuisines.
