Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, payroll, etc.).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer balances.
Costing & Inventory Management
Monitor and analyze food and beverage costs to minimize wastage and improve profitability.
Work closely with the operations and procurement teams to track stock usage and variance.
Provide variance analysis between actuals and budgeted figures.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
File statutory returns (VAT, WHT, PAYE, corporate tax, etc.) on time.
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Verify vendor invoices, process supplier payments, and reconcile statements.
Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding debts.
Work with suppliers to negotiate favorable payment terms.
