We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team, ensuring compliance with Nigerian accounting standards and internal reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and maintain accurate financial records, statements, and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Handle payroll preparation, tax deductions, and statutory remittances.
- Monitor company cash flow, budgets, and expenses to ensure proper cost control.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, regulatory bodies, and international accounting standards.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and government agencies when required.
- Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.Minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or Chinese company.Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and statutory compliance.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.QuickBooks, Zoho Accounting).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and within a multicultural team environment.
