Job Summary :
A reputable restaurant in Wuse 2, Abuja is looking to hire a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage inventory, supplies, and stock control. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, monitor stock levels, and maintain the overall organization of the store. This is a key operational role supporting the kitchen and service teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies.
Organize and maintain inventory in a clean, safe, and accessible manner.
Monitor stock levels and notify management of low inventory or discrepancies.
Issue materials and supplies to kitchen and service departments as requested.
Keep accurate records of stock movement and usage.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with inventory system.
Ensure proper labeling, storage conditions, and shelf life management.
Maintain documentation of deliveries, transfers, and returns.
Liaise with suppliers and coordinate timely deliveries.
Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in storage areas.
Requirements : Proficient in Excel
3–4 years proven experience as a Store Keeper or Inventory Officer, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping.
Proficiency in stock management software or basic Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate loads.
Trustworthy and dependable.
Minimum of OND / BSC; additional certifications in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
