SharePoint Support & Site Collection Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Support & Site Collection Administrator for a Tier 1 Oil & Gas servicing Company in Nigeria to manage and maintain the organization’s SharePoint environment at HQ. This role will ensure the smooth operation, governance, and optimization of SharePoint sites, enabling collaboration, secure content management, and digital workflows across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with business units, IT teams, and end users to deliver reliable SharePoint support and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Administer SharePoint site collections, libraries, lists, permissions, and workflows.

Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for SharePoint users at HQ.

Ensure compliance with governance policies, security settings, and access control.

Assist with site design, customization, and content management.

Support integration of SharePoint with Microsoft 365 and business applications.

Monitor SharePoint system performance, availability, and usage.

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions for document management, collaboration, and reporting needs.

Manage upgrades, patches, and new feature deployments in the SharePoint environment.

Provide training and guidance to end users to improve adoption and effective use of SharePoint.

Document administrative procedures, workflows, and known issues for knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

5+ years’ experience in SharePoint administration and support.

Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online / SharePoint Server, site collection administration, and content management.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform integration).

Experience with SharePoint workflows, Power Automate, or Nintex is an advantage.

Knowledge of permissions, governance, and compliance standards.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : SharePoint Administrator / Microsoft 365 Certified are a plus.
