SUMMARY

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Accountant located in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for handling and overseeing tax compliance, preparation, and other tax-related tasks. The role involves preparing financial statements and managing various accounting functions. The Tax Accountant will ensure that all financial and tax documentation is accurate and updated and will work closely with the finance team to optimize tax strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, and others).
• 4–6 years’ experience in an accounting firm or similar professional environment.
• Experience in Accounting and preparing Financial Statements.
• Strong understanding of Tax laws and regulations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial and tax documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Certification as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent is a plus (ICAN, ACA, FCA, FCCA).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with accounting software, such as Sage, Tally Prime, or QuickBooks, is compulsory.
