As a Loan Officer, you won’t just be handling paperwork — you’ll be the link between hardworking entrepreneurs and the financial support they need to grow. This role is about meeting people where they are, building trust, and ensuring access to loans that make a real impact in local communities. You’ll be on the move, visiting shops and homes, assessing businesses, and making sure loans are disbursed and repaid responsibly.

Your responsibilities :
You will mobilize and onboard clients for loans within your coverage areaYou will form groups and networks to expand loan reach in the communityYou will verify client homes and businesses to ensure compliance with company guidelinesYou will assess loan applications, prepare proposals, and present for appraisalYou will participate in credit committee reviews where requiredYou will manage loan disbursements and post-disbursement monitoringYou will recover overdue loans while maintaining cordial client relationshipsYou will capture and record accurate client and guarantor information in the systemYou will collect, post, and reconcile daily repayments and savings with the Branch ManagerYou will maintain a healthy loan portfolio and ensure customer satisfactionTo be considered, you should have
2–3 years of experience in microfinance, lending, sales, or community engagementStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to assess small businesses and determine repayment capacityProven ability to meet targets in a structured environmentBasic computer literacy for reporting and data entryA strong sense of integrity and accountabilityWhat success looks like…
