Assistant Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our production team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all machinery and equipment are in top working condition to support uninterrupted production and smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of machines and equipment.

Perform periodic inspections and troubleshoot machinery faults.

Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company policies.

Maintain records of maintenance activities and report equipment status to the line manager.

Coordinate with production teams to minimise downtime.

Monitor and replenish maintenance supplies / tools as needed.

Key Requirements

B.Sc. / HND in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

Good knowledge of wood manufacturing machine like and others.

Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
