As a Social Media Manager & Content Writer at CareerBuddy, you will be trained, certified, and then outsourced to our client companies to manage their social media presence, create engaging content, and drive meaningful engagement with their audiences.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
Develop engaging, original content for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter / X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)Write compelling copy for posts, captions, stories, and advertisementsCreate content calendars aligned with client goals and seasonal trendsDesign or coordinate creation of graphics, videos, and other visual content (basic design skills or coordination with designers)Adapt content tone and style to match each client's brand voiceResearch industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategySocial Media Management
Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling across multiple platformsMonitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentionsRespond to audience interactions in a timely and professional mannerBuild and nurture online communities around client brandsImplement hashtag strategies and optimize post timing for maximum reachManage social media advertising campaigns (boosted posts, basic ad campaigns)Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze key performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth, conversions)Prepare weekly / monthly reports for clients using WhereTalent templatesIdentify what's working and recommend strategic adjustmentsSet and monitor progress toward social media goals and KPIsUse insights to continuously improve content performanceClient Management

Essential Requirements
Education : Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)Writing Skills : Excellent written English with strong grammar, spelling, and storytelling abilitySocial Media Savvy : Active personal use of major social media platforms with understanding of how they workTech Comfort : Comfortable learning new tools and software quicklyReliability : Consistent availability during agreed working hours with strong time managementInternet Access : Stable internet connection and suitable device (laptop / desktop)Self-Motivation : Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionCoachability : Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to the WhereTalent methodologyDesired Qualifications
6 months to 2 years of experience in social media, content writing, or digital marketing (internships count!)Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite)Understanding of social media analytics and reportingExperience managing social media for a brand, business, or personal brand with measurable resultsPortfolio or examples of social media content you've createdKnowledge of SEO and content marketing principlesVideo editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)Copywriting or creative writing experienceSkills & Competencies
