Position Overview

We're seeking a talented Content Writer - LinkedIn, Personal Brand to craft compelling content and manage the online presence of senior executives, founders, and C-suite leaders. This role goes beyond simple content creation—you'll become the voice of influential business leaders, translating their expertise, insights, and vision into engaging LinkedIn posts, articles, and newsletters that build authority, drive engagement, and create meaningful business impact.

Position Type : Remote, Full-Time / Part-time

Reports To : Client Success Manager

Compensation : Competitive salary based on experience

What You'll Do

Content Creation & Strategy (60%)

LinkedIn Content Development

  • Write 4-8 LinkedIn posts per week per executive client in their authentic voice
  • Craft thought leadership articles (1,000-2,000 words) that establish industry authority
  • Develop engaging hooks and storytelling narratives that stop the scroll
  • Create content across formats : text posts, carousels, polls, document posts, and video scripts
  • Transform complex business concepts into accessible, engaging content
  • Adapt writing style to match each executive's personality, tone, and industry

Newsletter Management

  • Write, edit, and publish weekly or bi-weekly LinkedIn newsletters
  • Develop newsletter themes and editorial calendars aligned with business goals
  • Craft compelling subject lines and preview text for maximum open rates
  • Analyze newsletter performance and iterate based on engagement metrics
  • Build subscriber growth strategies through cross-promotion and value-driven content
  • Long-Form Content

  • Ghost-write LinkedIn articles that showcase deep industry expertise
  • Create case studies and success stories that demonstrate leadership impact
  • Develop whitepapers and thought leadership pieces for executive positioning
  • Transform presentations, speeches, and interviews into written content
  • Personal Brand Management (25%)

    Strategic Positioning

  • Conduct discovery sessions with executives to understand their expertise, goals, and voice
  • Develop personal brand strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Research industry trends, competitor positioning, and audience interests
  • Create content pillars and themes that reinforce brand positioning
  • Monitor brand reputation and recommend strategic adjustments
  • Engagement & Community Building

  • Engage with comments on behalf of executives (or draft authentic responses)
  • Identify and engage with relevant conversations in the executive's industry
  • Build relationships with other thought leaders, clients, and industry influencers
  • Recommend strategic connections and partnership opportunities
  • Monitor mentions and opportunities for executive participation
  • Performance Optimization

  • Analyze content performance metrics (impressions, engagement, shares, comments)
  • A / B test different content formats, hooks, and posting times
  • Provide monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
  • Continuously refine content strategy based on what resonates with audiences
  • Track competitive benchmarks and industry best practices
  • Client Collaboration (15%)

    Executive Partnership

  • Conduct regular intake calls to gather insights, opinions, and stories
  • Interview executives to extract unique perspectives and expertise
  • Present content calendars and obtain approval on key pieces
  • Provide strategic recommendations for personal brand growth
  • Build trust as a strategic partner, not just a content creator
  • Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align personal and corporate brand
  • Coordinate with PR teams on media opportunities and crisis communications
  • Work with design teams on visual content for LinkedIn posts
  • Partner with video teams to repurpose video content into written formats

    Required Qualifications

    Experience & Background

  • 2+ years of professional writing experience (journalism, content marketing, copywriting, or ghostwriting)
  • Proven experience writing for LinkedIn or managing executive social media presence
  • Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership content and personal brand development
  • Experience working with senior executives, founders, or C-suite leaders preferred
