Job Overview
The Cinema Social Media & Digital Manager will oversee all digital marketing and social media activities for us. The role involves managing content creation, digital advertising, online community engagement, and brand storytelling to drive cinema attendance, build online visibility, and enhance customer loyalty. This individual will work closely with the marketing and finance teams to ensure that online strategies translate into measurable revenue and audience growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute monthly social media content calendars for all our platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, YouTube).
- Create engaging digital content — videos, reels, trailers, posters, event coverage — that promotes upcoming movies and in-cinema experiences.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns on Meta, Google, and TikTok to boost reach and ticket sales.
- Oversee the cinema’s website, ensuring film schedules, promotions, and contact info are always up to date.
- Collaborate with distributors and studios to amplify promotional assets for each film release.
- Manage influencer collaborations and partnerships that increase audience traffic.
- Track analytics across all platforms (social media insights, Google Analytics, email campaigns) and report weekly.
- Monitor audience sentiment and engage followers promptly to strengthen customer relationships.
- Coordinate livestreams, contests, and special campaigns for premieres and events.
- Support the marketing team with creative direction for campaigns and activations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or related field.3–5 years’ experience managing social media and digital campaigns (preferably in entertainment,retail, or hospitality).
Proven record of building strong online communities and increasing brand engagement.Skilled in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and digital analytics tools.Strong creative and visual storytelling ability.Video editing and graphic design experience (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite) preferred.Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
