Job Summary

We are looking to hire a social worker who will oversee the welfare of the children within the home, liase with government officials, prepare detailed and timely report, carry out investigations and review cases based on individual situations.

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 3 years

Job Description / Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Carry out investigations
  • Conduct interviews with individuals and families to assess and review cases.
  • Liase with MYSD and generate monthly reports.
  • Recommend and sometimes make decisions about the best course of action for a child.
  • Attend stakeholders meetings if / when available
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
  • Participate in training and team meetings.
  • Work with the police, courts, health practitioners, schools, government officials and families.
  • Carry out other admin duties

    • Requirements :

    Minimum of 3years experience in a social work especially in working with children.

  • Patience & resilience
  • Flexibility to adapt to new roles, tasks and situations
  • Strong observation, analytical and listening skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Genuine desire to improve the quality of the lives of children
  • Good decision Making Skills
  • General administrative skills

    • Part-time ( 3days per week) or Full time available.
