Job Description
Our client is a leading multinational Mechanical and Electrical contracting company and they are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant / Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities :
Executive Support :
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director, including scheduling, correspondence, and documentation.
- Prepare reports, memos, and presentations related to ongoing projects and company operations.
- Coordinate meetings, site visits, and project reviews; take minutes and follow up on action items.
- Manage communication between management, clients, and project teams to ensure timely information flow.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information with discretion.
Quantity Surveying & Project Coordination :
Assist in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents for projects.Conduct cost analysis and monitor project budgets to ensure alignment with financial objectives.Evaluate and certify contractors’ work progress and payment applications.Support procurement by preparing material schedules and liaising with vendors and subcontractors.Track project variations and provide cost implications to management.Assist in preparing project financial reports and ensuring accurate documentation for all construction activities.Requirements
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.3–4 years of relevant experience in a construction or engineering company.Strong knowledge of cost estimation, project budgeting, and tender documentation.Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QS software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, or similar).High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification in HSE management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, NEBOSH) is preferred. Proven experience in HSE management roles within the construction industry, with 10 years of experience in a similar capacity. Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards relevant to the construction industry. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams and contractors. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Experience in incident investigation and reporting in a construction environment. Ability to work efficiently in a multi-cultural environment
