Accountant

Must be responsible for managing all financial transactions, including loan disbursements, repayments, interest calculations, and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while closely monitoring the portfolio quality and liquidity of the MFI's operations, often working directly with loan officers and branch managers to facilitate smooth financial processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Experience with microfinance operations and loan portfolio management is preferred

Proficiency in accounting software and data analysis tools

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different departments
