Job Description
The Finance Executive will assist the Finance Manager in overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, compliance with statutory requirements, effective budgetary control, and sound financial management to support business decisions and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support in developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal control policies.
- Coordinate and review the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and expenditure to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Support the external audit process and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Identify and recommend improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
- Supervise and mentor junior finance team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide analytical insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent (mandatory).Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in accounting or finance.Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.Benefits
