The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial health, liquidity, and investment standing of the Office of Sir Mapy, the Office of the CEO
The role involves overseeing cashflow, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring funds are strategically allocated in alignment with ongoing projects and long-term objectives.
The Finance Manager will serve as a key advisor in financial planning, helping to ensure control, transparency, and stability across all financial operations.
Core Responsibilities :
1. Financial Management & Oversight
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cashflow activities across all accounts.
- Maintain updated records of inflows, outflows, and account balances.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and project needs while optimizing idle funds.
File Taxes.. (personal tax)
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop and monitor monthly and quarterly budgets.Prepare forecasts for expenses, revenues, and investments.Provide early warning signals of potential financial risks or shortfalls.3. Accounting & Reporting
Maintain up-to-date ledgers and financial documents for all transactions.Prepare periodic financial summaries and reports for review by Sir Mapy.Reconcile expenditures, transfers, and project-related disbursements.4. Investment & Cash Allocation
Identify short-term and long-term investment opportunities aligned with liquidity goals.Track performance of existing investments and propose adjustments when necessary.Collaborate with relevant departments or partners to ensure disciplined cash deployment.5. Compliance & Transparency
Uphold the highest standards of financial integrity and confidentiality.Ensure that all transactions and records reflect transparency and accuracy.Establish internal financial controls to safeguard organizational funds.Deliverables :
Weekly Cashflow Statement : Snapshot of balances, expenditures, and available liquidity.Monthly Financial Report : Overview of income, expenses, and savings / investments.Budget Tracker : Updated document tracking actual vs. planned financial activity.Quarterly Treasury Review : Summary of trends, insights, and strategic recommendations.
