About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and good knowledge of accounting tools and Microsoft Excel. This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.

Use accounting software and digital tools to enhance efficiency.

Collaborate with internal teams and communicate financial information clearly.

Assist with audits, tax preparation, and statutory filings.

Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

ICAN / ACCA chartered or in final stage of certification.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis).

Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books).

Tech-savvy and able to work with digital tools and reporting systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Preferred Skills

Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
