The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing and managing the general accounting operations of the company. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyze financial data to support informed decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Accounts Payable / Receivable : Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
- Inventory Management : Assist in the management of inventory levels and costs.
- Cost Accounting : Analyze production costs, identify variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, assess financial performance, and support strategic decision-making.
- Internal Controls : Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Tax Compliance : Assist with the preparation and filing of various tax returns.
- Audits : Coordinate and assist with external and internal audits.
- Team Management : May supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Pricing : Ensure that the right costing model is followed to meet and surpass target margin
- Treasury Management : Ensure judicious application and management of pool of funds.
- Logistics : Assist in the management of logistics at all levels (Import & Export)

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.ICAN or other relevant professional certification preferred.6+ years of experience in accounting, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamKPI
