The QA / QC Officer is to support the QAQC team in implementing the company’s strategies, objectives, and operational status to ensure high-quality operational processes and products.

Responsibilities :
- Providing daily, weekly & monthly QA / QC program updates.
- Implementing Quality Assurance programs for the company.
- Determining the quantity of product that has been loaded on the truck during transloading or from the depot.
- Determining and certifying that the quality of the product that is being loaded satisfies the regulatory requirements.
- The certificates of quality are deposited in a sealed packet with the driver of the truck.
- Monitor procedures at the discharge of diesel products at discharge points.
- Maintain quality procedures at product distribution and loading locations.
- Will carry out tests on white products.
- Keeping daily, weekly, and monthly records of the product dispensing to all clients.
- Keeping records of loadings and supplies.
- Monitoring the supply and delivery of products.
- Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
- Be stationed at the dispensing location and work with the store attendant to monitor and track the dispensing of the product and inventory.
- Be present when new stock arrives and take responsibility for validating the quantity of the product that has been brought down from the depot, and be responsible for monitoring and validating that the total amount has been dispensed into storage.
- Will also need to accompany the dispensing trucks on trips and be present for all first-time dispensing trips to external third parties, periodically perform spot checks, and will need to take physical evidence of each dispensing in the form of photographs.
- Approve incoming materials / products by confirming specifications, that the amounts dispensed are accurate, conducting a visual (in the form of pictures) accounting of the product, conducting tests, rejecting, and returning unacceptable materials / products.
- Monitor procedures at the discharging points of petroleum products.
- Maintain quality procedures for product distribution.
- Will carry out tests on petroleum products.
- Monitor all operations that affect quality.
- Assure the reliability and consistency of supplies by checking processes and final output.
- Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied.
- Report all malfunctions to your line manager to ensure immediate action.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or equivalent qualifications.Good analytical skills and excellent knowledge of tools and methodologies.Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.The ability to identify and intervene in problem areas, well-developed problem-solving skills.The ability to interface seamlessly with downstream operators / contractors.2-3 Years of experience working in the midstream or downstream oil & gas sector.Willingness to work in the field and work in operations.
