Job Description
The Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager (QA / QC Manager) will be responsible for effectively managing quality assurance & quality control activities and team, monitoring the compliant implementation of WHO Pre-Qualification requirements in the manufacturing of long lasting insecticidal nets, ensuring products and processes meet the highest quality standards.
He will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and ensure that products are delivered on time and within specifications.
Key responsibilities
1. Establishing Standards & Compliance
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test plans, reports, and defect tracking records.
- Enforce quality standards and procedures, ensuring all team members follow them.
- Develop, implement, improve the ISO9001 quality management system of the factory.
- Obtain in due time the ISO9001 certification from a global certification body.
- Plan and follow-up annual internal quality audit schedule.
- Be the point of contact and lead the preparation of WHO Pre-Qualification Inspections.
- Schedule workloads of inspection team to meet deadline and act fast in emergency mode.
2. Data Analysis & Overseeing Testing
Carry out the acceptance and testing inspection process to ensure product releases fulfill their requirements before releasing to customers.Monitor and analyze key quality metrics to track product performance and identify areas for improvement.Review products' quality and communicate results internally.Conduct inspection plan for products to maximize the ability of risk detection.Perform risk assessments and ensure quality risks are mitigated throughout the product life cycle.Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.3. Staff Management & Collaboration
Lead and manage the QA / QC department in the transfer of technology from overseas operations.Lead and manage the QA / QC department in the development, implementation, and execution of quality assurance processes and strategies.Manage and mentor the QA / QC team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.Provide training and development opportunities to quality and production staff to enhance team skills and performance.Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure that quality standards are integrated into the products lifecycle.Establish and maintain a strong communication channel with other departments to ensure quality expectations are met throughout the production process.Ensure the inspection team is sufficiently equipped with knowledge, tools and safety for a full operational state.Performance indicators
