Job Title : ICT Project Engineering Manager

Job Summary :
The ICT Project Engineering Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of ICT projects from inception to completion. This role involves leading a team of engineers and technical personnel, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge and project management skills, particularly within the ICT and security systems industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Planning & Execution :
- Lead the planning and execution of ICT infrastructure and security system projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget estimates, and risk assessments.
- Ensure that project objectives align with the company’s strategic goals and client expectations.
- Team Leadership & Coordination :
- Manage and supervise project engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure high engineering work standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
- Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management :
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the engineering team.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions effectively with stakeholders.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Technical Oversight :
- Oversee the design, integration, and deployment of ICT systems, including but not limited to :
- Network and communication systems
- Data centers and server infrastructure
- Surveillance and access control systems
- Cloud-based solutions and cybersecurity measures
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, IEEE, NCC, NITDA guidelines).
- Budgeting & Cost Control :
- Prepare and manage project budgets.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure financial efficiency and cost control.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in procurement decisions.
- Risk Management & Compliance :
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Maintain project documentation and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications :
B.Sc. / B.Eng in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL, Auto Cad) are a plus.Minimum of 10 years experience in ICT or systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management role.Strong understanding of ICT infrastructure, networking, and enterprise-level technologies.Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).Key Skill
