Job Summary :

The ICT Project Engineering Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of ICT projects from inception to completion. This role involves leading a team of engineers and technical personnel, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge and project management skills, particularly within the ICT and security systems industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Planning & Execution :
• Lead the planning and execution of ICT infrastructure and security system projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget estimates, and risk assessments.
• Ensure that project objectives align with the company’s strategic goals and client expectations.
• Team Leadership & Coordination :
• Manage and supervise project engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure high engineering work standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
• Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management :
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the engineering team.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions effectively with stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Technical Oversight :
• Oversee the design, integration, and deployment of ICT systems, including but not limited to :
• Network and communication systems
• Data centers and server infrastructure
• Surveillance and access control systems
• Cloud-based solutions and cybersecurity measures
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, IEEE, NCC, NITDA guidelines).
• Budgeting & Cost Control :
• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure financial efficiency and cost control.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in procurement decisions.
• Risk Management & Compliance :
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Maintain project documentation and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
