Our client is a group of companies, due to expansion they are in need of a TECHNICAL ASSISTANT TO THE MD.
LOCATION : Lagos
JOB SUMMARY The Technical Assistant to the MD provides comprehensive administrative and technical support to the Managing Director. Responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and supporting strategic initiatives while ensuring efficient communication flow and operational support to the MD’s office.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage MD's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
- Prepare and organize meeting materials and presentations
- Take minutes during meetings and follow up on action items
- Screen and prioritize calls, visitors, and correspondence
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the MD
- Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and documentation
- Manage travel arrangements and logistics for the MD
- Maintain filing systems and ensure proper documentation management
- Support in organizing company events and executive functions
- Assist in preparing technical reports and presentations as required
- Support data analysis and research activities for strategic decision-making
- Coordinate with various departments to gather information for MD's review
- Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for the MD
- Facilitate communication between MD and department heads
Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related technical discipline.Master’s degree (MBA or MSc) is an added advantage.Minimum of 4–7 years of relevant experience in a technical, analytical, or executive support capacity.Proven track record of supporting senior management in a corporate, industrial, or project-driven environment.Strong analytical, reporting, and project management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Strong presentation and documentation skills.Ability to engage effectively with top management, staff, and external stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and analytical tools such as Power BI or MS Project.Ability to interpret and review technical documents and business data.
