The Company Driver will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and efficient transportation for company staff, clients, and materials. The role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, vehicle maintenance schedules, and company procedures to ensure smooth and reliable mobility for RLC operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain company vehicles in a safe, clean, and serviceable condition.
- Transport staff, clients, and materials to and from designated locations as assigned.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip (oil, water, tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
- Keep detailed logs of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance history.
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents immediately to management.
- Ensure adherence to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving standards.
- Assist in delivering or picking up company items, documents, and supplies as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling official or client-related information.
- Perform other administrative or logistical support duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of SSCE / OND.Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.3–5 years of professional driving experience (preferably in a corporate setting).Sound knowledge of Lagos road networks and traffic patterns.Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance.Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.Must be punctual, reliable, and possess strong interpersonal skills.Must reside within Lagos Mainland or Island.Core Competencies
