Job Title : Company Driver

Location : Maryland

Employment Type : Full-Time

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday (Occasional weekends required)

Time : 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm

Travel : Frequent travel to different states

Job Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, materials, or personnel safely and efficiently. This role requires flexibility, punctuality, and a strong understanding of road safety and interstate travel protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate company vehicles for the transport of goods or personnel

Drive to various local and interstate destinations as required

Ensure timely deliveries and pickups in accordance with schedules

Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly

Maintain accurate trip records and logs

Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies

Assist with loading and unloading of items when necessary

Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients

Work occasional weekends and extended hours as needed

Requirements :

Valid driver’s license (appropriate class for vehicle type)

Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations

Minimum professional driving experience (interstate experience preferred)

Good knowledge of road networks and routes across multiple states

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Physically fit and able to lift heavy items if required

Professional, polite, and customer-focused attitude

Flexibility to work weekends and travel on short notice

Preferred :

Experience driving long distances or intercity routes

Familiarity with GPS and route planning tools

Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle issues
