Proven track record in structuring complex trade and project finance deals. Deep knowledge of non-oil exports, solid minerals, and trade value chains. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities. Familiarity with Nigerian and international export regulations. This role is pivotal in driving Nigeria’s economic diversification through non-oil exports and mineral development. You will play a key role in expanding access to international trade markets. We are partnering with a leading financial services group with strong interests in banking, asset management, consumer finance, and technology, operating across Africa and the United Kingdom. Employing over 8,000 professionals and serving 12 million customers, the group is seeking a visionary Senior Manager, Non-Oil Exports & Solid Minerals to spearhead growth in this high-impact sector.

What You’ll Do
- Originate and onboard clients within the non-oil exports and solid minerals value chains.
- Structure and deliver trade finance, project finance, and working capital facilities tailored to sector-specific needs.
- Provide market advisory and insights on export policies, trends, and regulatory frameworks.
- Drive cross-border business opportunities in collaboration with international counterparts.
- Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring credit quality and effective risk management.
- Achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets within the sector portfolio.
- Engage key stakeholders including government agencies, export councils, and industry associations.
- Track commodity market trends and trade policy developments to refine business strategies.
- Champion ESG principles by promoting sustainable mining and export practices.
- Mentor and develop junior bankers to build expertise and capacity within the sector.
