Facilities Management Supervisor

Job Description

Our client is an investment holding company that seeks to add value to Life. They operate across the Life science research and development, Food processing, manufacturing and Real-estate segments. Due to Expansion they are in need of FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SUPERVISOR

Location : Lagos State

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance of critical infrastructure including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, power generators, water systems, lighting, and general building upkeep.
• Ensure all preventive maintenance schedules are followed and logged.
• Respond promptly to repair requests or breakdowns and minimize facility downtime.
• Coordinate third-party vendors and service providers for maintenance, repair, janitorial, pest control, and security services.
• Monitor vendor compliance with contractual terms, safety protocols, and performance standards.
• Evaluate quotations, negotiate costs, and oversee quality of external services.
• Ensure that all safety regulations are followed within facilities in accordance with national and industry standards.
• Support audits and inspections (e.g. fire safety, occupational health, NAFDAC, or biotech / food regulations).
• Conduct safety drills and facility checks, and address identified risks or hazards.
• Maintain and update records related to maintenance schedules, service logs, utilities usage, and incident reports.
• Prepare regular reports on facility status, maintenance activities, and incident responses.
• Recommend improvements for energy efficiency, space optimization, or operational cost savings.
