Software Developer / Support Level 1 (Mid-Level Developer)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Software Developer / Support (Mid-Level) to join our IT team. This role combines software development with application support responsibilities. The successful candidate will contribute to coding, debugging, maintaining applications, and providing second-line support to end users.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business requirements.

Debug and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Provide support for in-house and third-party applications, handling escalations from Level 1 support teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user needs and design solutions.

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.

Create and maintain technical documentation for software and support processes.

Participate in system upgrades, patches, and release deployments.

Suggest improvements for system performance, functionality, and user experience.

Qualifications :

BSc / HND in Computer Science or Numerate discipline.

Certifications :

Relevant Microsoft / Developer certifications.

Experience :

3-5 years using VB.NET / C#, 3 years SQL Server & Oracle DB, ORM frameworks, 1-2 years cloud / DevOps.

Special Requirements :

Experience with mobile apps, UI frameworks, automated testing frameworks.
