IT Officer / Network Administrator ( Head Office, Lagos)

About the Role :

Hitech Construction Company Limited is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Officer / Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, network security, and technical support across all departments.

Key Responsibilities :

Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot IT-related issues and provide technical support to end users.

Monitor system and network performance to maintain uptime and efficiency.

Implement and manage IT security measures to safeguard data and systems.

Support data backup and disaster recovery procedures.

Manage IT equipment inventory and recommend upgrades when necessary.

Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new technologies into existing systems.

Document IT configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Maintain structured cabling and ensure smooth LAN / WAN / Wi-Fi connectivity.

Support VoIP systems and telecommunication network integration.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2–3 years of relevant experience as an IT Officer, Network Technician, or Network Administrator.

Proficiency in routers, switches, VLANs, QoS, and wireless networking (802.11 standards).

Strong knowledge of TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS, and network troubleshooting tools.

Experience with LAN / WAN setup, network monitoring, and cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

Familiarity with virtualization, VoIP systems, and enterprise software integration.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
