- You are an experienced Finance professional preferably within a financial services ecosystem.
- You are fully capable of preparing and presenting accurate financial statements in strict compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting standards.
- You are ready to lead all month-end closing activities (accruals, amortizations, GL reconciliation) and supervise statutory and internal audits.
- You are able to conduct performance and profitability analyses across business units, contribute to financial strategies, and drive process improvement and automation.
- You possess strong expertise in regulatory and statutory compliance, including tax filings and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) in compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting standards. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance, including tax filings, audits, and reporting.Prepare periodic management accounts, monthly MPR reports, and budget variance analyses.Coordinate group and divisional budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial objectives.Lead all month-end closing activities, including amortization, accruals, provisions, and GL reconciliation.Supervise and coordinate statutory audits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and board reports.Conduct performance and profitability analyses across business units, products, and teams.Drive process improvement and automation within the finance function to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.Organize and facilitate FIRS compliance training and continuous professional development for the finance team.Support capacity building and training for finance team members.Contribute to the development of financial strategies and business plans.Liaise with department heads to ensure financial discipline and accountability. Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
