Duties

The Provost / CEO is the Institute / Academic and Administrative head of the institute / college in charge of the day to day running of the institute / college.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a holder of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with relevant qualifications and wide experience of the matter with which the college / institute is concerned, training and research experience as evidenced in scientific publications in referred journals.

In addition, candidates must have the ability to provide academic / administrative leadership, attract funding as well as have clear and articulated vision for the development of the college / institute.

Furthermore, he / she must not be more than 60 years of age at the time of commencement of the tenure.

A minimum of Principal Lecturer, Assistant Director or Associate Professor would be required, please.
