Towards meeting this cardinal objective, the Kano State Government is desirous of obtaining the services of qualified and experienced professionals to be employed to work in Kano State, Nigeria to participate in the planned portable water supply program. Consequently, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria hereby, on behalf of the Kano State Government, invites applications from interested and qualified professionals .

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain printing and reprographic equipment (digital and offset).
  • Format and prepare documents, reports, training materials, and promotional items for printing.
  • Ensure high-quality reproduction of images, graphics, charts, and text in all printed outputs.
  • Handle finishing processes such as binding, lamination, cutting, folding, and collating of materials.
  • Coordinate print jobs and manage production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain records of printed materials and manage printing supplies and inventory.
  • Collaborate with communication and documentation officers to ensure consistency in branding and visual standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with printing equipment and arrange for repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure safe working conditions and proper handling of printing chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor's Degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a print production or publishing environment.
  • Proficiency with digital printing systems and graphic design software (e.g., CorelDRAW, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Understanding of prepress, color calibration, and quality control techniques.
  • Familiarity with document layout, typography, and print finishing methods.
  • Experience producing technical or government publications is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to relocate to or travel within Kano State as needed.
