Job Description

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving the Group’s business growth through opportunity identification, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation. The role requires a proactive, goal-oriented professional who can develop and implement strategies to expand the Group’s market presence, strengthen client relationships, and achieve financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in line with the Group’s strategic objectives.
  • Support in the design and execution of business development initiatives, market entry strategies, and revenue expansion projects.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver compelling business presentations, proposals, and pitches.
  • Manage and grow client accounts while ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Source, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Represent the Group at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Drive business deals from prospecting to closure, ensuring revenue targets are achieved.
  • Prepare regular business reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
  • Support the Head of Business Development in executing departmental goals and contributing to overall Group performance.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of financial services, investment products, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence decision-making, negotiate favorable terms, and close deals.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze market data and business trends.
  • Proven ability to build long-term partnerships and client networks.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to deliver against set targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (CIM, CFA, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • 3–5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the financial services, investment, or consulting industry.
