Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and well-organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our freight forwarding company. The ideal candidate will manage front desk operations, handle client inquiries, support administrative tasks, and ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and receive clients, visitors, and partners in a professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly
- Manage front desk operations and maintain a welcoming office environment
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate visitor access
- Receive, log, and distribute incoming documents, parcels, and shipments
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and data entry
- Liaise with operations, logistics, and finance teams to route inquiries correctly
- Maintain confidentiality of company and client information
- Assist with basic office management and other assigned duties
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Business Administration or related fieldProven experience as a receptionist or front desk officer (logistics or freight experience is an advantage)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional appearance and customer-service mindsetStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasksKey Skills & Competencies
