Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead, Security Presales Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in cybersecurity and network security solutions , coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams to drive customer success and business growth.
The role involves providing presales support, technical solutioning, and product demonstrations to clients while ensuring that all proposed security solutions align with business requirements and organizational goals. The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to design and deliver robust, scalable security architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and recommend suitable cybersecurity solutions.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to communicate the value of security offerings to potential clients.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle, providing subject matter expertise on security technologies and architectures.
Lead the preparation of technical responses to RFPs, RFQs, and proposals , ensuring solution alignment with client needs.
Design solution architectures, Proof of Concepts (PoCs) , and Proof of Value (PoV) demonstrations that showcase technical feasibility and business impact.
Ensure proposed security solutions integrate seamlessly with clients existing infrastructure.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's security portfolio, including features, updates, and competitive advantages.
Work closely with engineering and product teams to understand new product developments and align them with customer requirements.
Evaluate and optimize solution performance regularly to ensure alignment with organizational goals and customer satisfaction.
Support business growth by achieving financial and operational targets for assigned solution areas.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the presales team, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
Develop Bill of Materials (BOMs), solution pricing, and configuration documentation.
Ensure all presales and technical engagements are delivered to the highest professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Education :
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
Masters Degree will be an added advantage.
Professional Certifications :
CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or equivalent industry certification is required.
Additional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, Sophos Certified Engineer ) are an advantage.
Experience :
Minimum of 57 years experience in ICT, Telecoms, or Banking Technology , with hands-on exposure to security architecture design and presales engineering.
Proven track record of working with multiple OEMs and security vendors across diverse technology ecosystems.
Strong ability to align technical solutions with business and financial objectives.
Demonstrated success in preparing and delivering technical proposals and RFP responses.
Proficiency in designing, pricing, and optimizing enterprise-grade security solutions.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and presentation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
