Job Summary

  • We seek a Brand and Communication Coordinator to enhance SOS CV Nigeria's visibility. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communication, the role involves brand development, media content creation, and managing communication networks. The coordinator ensures branding goals align with national strategic plans.
  • Responsibilities

  • The Brand and Communication Coordinator will manage SOS CVN's corporate branding, ensuring consistent messaging, high-quality publications, and media engagement.
  • Responsibilities include designing marketing materials, producing video content, overseeing digital platforms, and executing strategic campaigns.
  • The role involves coordinating events, fostering media partnerships, and supporting fundraising through impactful storytelling.
  • Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in design, content creation, and digital marketing is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in branding, corporate communication, or media is required, along with a commitment to data confidentiality, safeguarding policies, and teamwork.
  • BSc. in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or any other related field of study.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Brand Management, Corporate Communication, Media, Advocacy, or Public Relations.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Graphics Design, Cinematography, and Photography, especially for INGOs.
  • Proficiency in editing tools such as InDesign, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.
  • MBA / M.Sc. in a relevant field is an added advantage.
  • Professional qualifications in branding, marketing, or communications (e.g., CIM, CIPR, NIPR, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, SEO, and content management systems.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills for various communication channels.
  • Ability to develop and execute brand strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience in media relations, press releases, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting campaign performance data and market trends.
  • Data Confidentiality : Understanding data confidentiality principles is compulsory.
  • Safeguarding Policy : The Head, Internal Audit, and Compliance ensures that all tasks comply with the Safeguarding Policy Implementation in the organization.
  • Other Qualities Include :

  • A creative thinker with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design and video editing.
  • Good use of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Conversant with Local, State, and Federal employment guidelines.
  • High energy, calm disposition, friendly and supportive.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
