Key Responsibilities
Site Management
- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure alignment with project plans.
- Monitor and enforce project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and architects.
Team Supervision
Assign tasks and monitor the performance of site workers.Provide guidance and support to ensure productivity.Address and resolve conflicts or issues among team members.Quality Assurance
Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.Identify and address any deviations or issues promptly.Review and approve materials, tools, and equipment used on-site.Health & Safety Compliance
Enforce health and safety regulations on-site.Conduct regular safety audits and drills.Report and address incidents or hazards immediately.Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including progress reports, labor, and material usage.Submit timely updates to the Project Manager or stakeholders.Requirements
Education & Certification
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).Professional certification in construction supervision or safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is a plus.Experience
3+ years of experience as a site supervisor or similar role.Proven track record of successful construction project management.Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Technical Knowledge
Familiarity with construction software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).Ability to use basic surveying equipment and tools.
