Business Development Manager (Inkjet Coding Machines)

Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking to recruit a skilled and results-driven Business Development Manager with strong experience in industrial inkjet coding machines (CIJ, TIJ, DOD, etc.). The role is responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and managing key customer accounts across relevant industries such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and packaging.

Key Requirements :

HND or B.Sc in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Candidates with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering are strongly preferred.

Minimum of 3–7 years of experience in B2B sales or business development of industrial coding & marking equipment (preferably inkjet).

Prior experience with coding machines like CIJ (Continuous Inkjet), TIJ (Thermal Inkjet), and other marking technologies.

Ability to travel frequently meet clients and supports regional growth.

Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.

Familiarity with coding applications in packaging lines and integration with production systems (PLC, SCADA).

Key Responsibilities :

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted sectors for inkjet coding and marking machines.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth.

Build strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, system integrators, and end-users.

Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical support in collaboration with the engineering team.

Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals with customers.

Coordinate with internal teams for project implementation, after-sales service, and customer satisfaction.

Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline progress, and forecast accuracy.

Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company and its products.
