Regulatory Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Officer to provide strategic and operational regulatory guidance throughout the product development cycle.

The Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations set by local and international regulatory agencies.

The ideal candidate should be adept at interpreting regulatory rules and regulations, possess excellent project management and written communication skills, and be able to develop strategies for earliest possible commercialization of products, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Developing and implementing internal regulations and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with the requirements of regulatory agencies
• Interpreting regulatory rules and regulations and ensuring that they are communicated across the organization
• Reviewing company policies and advice on possible risks, including legal implications
• Preparing and submitting documentation to regulatory agencies
• Preparing and submitting documentation to regulatory agencies
• Ensuring timely submission of necessary reports to government and other regulatory bodies
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure the implementation of compliance programs
• Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines
• Advising on changes and their implementation and providing guidance on compliance matters

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Regulatory Affairs Officer or similar role

Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the industry

Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and ability to apply them

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Strong organizational and project management skills

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or Bio chemistry related field
