As Key Account Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the customer experience and growth of assigned key vendors. Your role is to drive assortment strategy, design targeted promotions, and manage key vendors in our marketplace through constant collaboration with Commercial Operations, Vendor Experience, and Marketing teams.
What you will be doing
Drive continuous business growth by owning pricing and promotions strategy, collaborating with marketing teams to enhance product content and visibility, and ensuring stock availability through cross-functional coordinationManage complete sales performance of assigned categories and vendors, monitoring and implementing sales strategies to increase Net Margin Position (NMP) and Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV)Drive customer acquisition through value offerings, sales campaign management, and strategic promotional initiativesCreate and present strategic insights and business recommendations to gain alignment on major initiatives across multiple organizational levelsAnalyze and present post-promotion performance reports for retail and marketplace, quantifying impact on brand and category performanceDefine and optimize curation and assortment selection strategy for your portfolio, ensuring relevance to maximize revenues and sales velocitySupport product and content creation processes to expand live assortmentPlan and maintain optimal stock availability across all product linesIdentify market trends and consumer insights to fill category gaps and capitalize on emerging opportunitiesBuild and execute weekly marketing plans, determining product and subcategory promotions across website and all marketing channels (newsletters, social media, etc.)Develop robust analytics to evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and optimize marketing, pricing, and product selection strategiesWhat we are looking for
4-5 years of experience in key account management, category management, or e-commerce / retail operationsStrong ability to prioritize and manage key accounts strategicallyProven experience in process improvement and operational excellenceSolid understanding of P&L management and cash-flow dynamicsSkilled in negotiation, value-based selling, and vendor relationship managementDemonstrated experience negotiating bulk discounts, MOQs, and credit terms with vendorsTrack record of building strategic partnerships with OEMs and key suppliersEntrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentalityAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesProven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressureStrategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute ideas independently in a fast-paced environmentDeep understanding of e-commerce dynamics and customer behavior
