Job Summary : This role is remote. The Video Editor plays a crucial role in bringing creative concepts to life by producing high-quality video content for a variety of marketing campaigns. This role requires a strong understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling, and brand building. The ideal candidate is a passionate and creative individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of current video trends.Responsibilities :
- Edit raw footage into compelling and engaging video content for various platforms (social media, websites, commercials, brand films, etc.).
- Select and sequence video clips, add effects, and create smooth transitions.
- Color correct and grade footage to achieve the desired visual style and brand aesthetics.
- Add music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the video's impact and storytelling.
- Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to elevate the creative vision.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, including directors, producers, copywriters, and designers.
- Assist in the development of creative concepts for video projects.
- Stay abreast of the latest video editing software, techniques, and industry trends.
- Ensure all video deliverables adhere to client briefs and brand guidelines.
- Maintain organized video libraries and archives.
- Potentially assist with on-set filming and capturing B-roll footage.Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating a diverse range of projects (e.g., commercials, social media ads, brand films, explainer videos).
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Excellent understanding of video production principles, including cinematography, lighting, and sound.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills with the ability to translate brand messages into compelling visual narratives.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with the creative team and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
- Passion for video and a strong interest in the latest marketing and advertising trends.Bonus Points :
