Job Description
Develop, implement, and maintain transfer pricing policies in line with local and international tax regulations.
Conduct comprehensive benchmarking studies and economic analyses to support intercompany pricing structures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tax-efficient business models and supply chain structures .
Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation, reports, and disclosures per statutory requirements.
Provide strategic tax planning and advisory support for new business initiatives and expansions.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of corporate, VAT, and transfer pricing returns .
Monitor and interpret changes in OECD, BEPS, and local tax legislation , ensuring proactive compliance.
Manage tax audits and inquiries , including direct communication with tax authorities.
Maintain organized tax records and provide regular tax performance and compliance reports to management.
Supervise, coach, and mentor junior tax team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics , or a related field.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CITN) required; a Master’s in Taxation or Economics is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on transfer pricing and international tax planning .
Deep understanding of OECD guidelines, BEPS framework , and Nigerian tax regulations .
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, bench marking tools, and tax software .
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead strategic tax initiatives.
