Job Description
Sproxil is seeking a Business Innovation Lead to identify, design, and execute new business opportunities that leverage Sproxil’s technology, data, and market presence. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader who has built or scaled startups, drove innovation in the software or information technology business space, and is driven by purpose, impact, and growth.
The successful candidate will move fluidly between strategy and execution, turning ideas into pilots, pilots into products, and products into scalable business lines or impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Innovation & New Venture Development
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with Sproxil’s mission, technology, and market footprint.
- Conceptualize, validate, and launch new products, services, or business models.
- Lead ideation from problem discovery through MVP, pilot, and scale.
- Test assumptions quickly using lean startup principles.
Product & Technology Collaboration
Work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to translate ideas into viable tech solutions.Contribute to product roadmap discussions from a business and market perspective.Ensure innovations are commercially viable, scalable, and user-centric.Entrepreneurial Execution
Own end-to-end execution of innovation initiatives, including business cases, pilots, and go-to-market plans.Build and manage cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.Operate with founder-level accountability for results.Market, Partnerships & Ecosystem
dentify and build strategic partnerships with startups, corporates, regulators, NGOs, and ecosystem players.Engage external stakeholders to support pilots, funding, or scale.Represent Sproxil in innovation forums, pitch sessions, and strategic discussions.Impact, Purpose & ESG Alignment
Ensure innovation initiatives align with Sproxil’s mission of trust, consumer protection, and impact.Explore opportunities that strengthen ESG positioning and social impact.Support initiatives that may attract grants, donors, or development partners.Risk, Learning & Continuous Improvement
Identify commercial, operational, and regulatory risks early.Learn fast from failures and iterate based on data and feedback.Document insights and create repeatable innovation frameworks.Requirements
Required Experience & Background
7+ years of experience in startups, technology companies, or innovation-driven environments.Founder, co-founder, or early-stage team experience in one or more businesses (strongly preferred).Demonstrated experience building or scaling tech products or digital platforms.Strong understanding of product development, market validation, and growth strategies.Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with limited structure.Skills & Competencies
