Job Description
An Accountant helps businesses make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking,
and correcting the company’s finances. They are responsible for financial audits,
reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the
year
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Manage balance sheets and profit / loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Manage Book Keeping (invoices, quote, purchase order and expenses)
Requirements
Work experience as an AccountantExperience with general ledger functionsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Hands-on experience with accounting software.Strong attention to detail and good analytical skillsEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degreeExperience with Zoho books or any accounting software / Package
