Job Summary

The Store Keeper will be responsible for the efficient management of inventory, ensuring proper documentation, storage, and issuance of materials and finished goods. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and adherence to company inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, goods, and supplies.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of items for easy identification and access.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory management systems regularly.
  • Issue materials to production departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with accounts or procurement.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or surpluses promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company policies within the store area.
  • Support periodic audits and provide inventory reports to management.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security of the store and its contents.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of OND in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1–2 years relevant experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and record-keeping practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
