Job Summary
The Store Keeper will be responsible for the efficient management of inventory, ensuring proper documentation, storage, and issuance of materials and finished goods. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and adherence to company inventory control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, goods, and supplies.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of items for easy identification and access.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory management systems regularly.
- Issue materials to production departments based on approved requisitions.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with accounts or procurement.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or surpluses promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company policies within the store area.
- Support periodic audits and provide inventory reports to management.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and security of the store and its contents.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of OND in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.1–2 years relevant experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and record-keeping practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
