JOB SUMMARY :

The Truck Driver operates heavy-duty trucks for material transport while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Safely operate heavy-duty trucks for local and long-distance transport.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to traffic laws and transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and trip records.
• Report vehicle defects or issues to the Workshop Manager.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or spillage.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments when required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site supervisors.
• Stay updated on road and weather conditions to plan routes.
• Comply with safety protocols to minimize risks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck cab and trailer.
• Attend regular safety and operational training sessions.
• Monitor fuel consumption and optimize routes for efficiency.
• Coordinate with the workshop team for routine maintenance.
