Medical Laboratory Assistance

Job Description :

The Lab Assistant supports laboratory operations by preparing materials, setting up equipment, conducting basic tests, cleaning and maintaining the lab environment, and assisting senior lab staff with experiments and data collection.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collect and label patient specimens (blood, urine, swabs, etc.)
• Prepare samples for testing or analysis
• Assist with basic laboratory tests under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab
• Sterilize and clean laboratory tools and equipment
• Record and manage test data and patient information
• Safely dispose of biological waste and samples
• Follow health, safety, and confidentiality guidelines
